June 2009- July 2009- AmusedMoose Stand Up Comedy course.

Based in Covent Garden, taken over five weekends as an intensive course in finding and developing comedy material and using it in a stand-up performance. At the conclusion of the course, we had to perform a five-minute showcase to an audience of around 30 people. Having already been performing stand up comedy since December 2008, I found this course has helped me to develop a stronger understanding of comedy, entertainment, and the stand-up comedy industry.

Stand up performances around the London circuit include The Cavendish Arms (Stockwell), The Bedford (Banbury), AmusedMoose Walkabout (Covent Garden), Rudy’s Revenge (Holborn) Jongleurs Camden, The Queens Head (Piccadilly) and ‘The London Comedy Club’ (Leicester Square).


Late June 2009- 'Second Actor'- Comedy actor role for short student film 'The Audition' (Four Corner Films)


Early June 2009- 'Football Hooligan' extra in Rik Mayalls music video 'Noble England' the 2010 world cup anthem.


May 2009- December 2009- Member of the BooDoo Improv group in Old Oxted, Surrey.

 

August- October 2008- Member of the Aardvark productions performance team

Performed as ‘Doctor’ and ‘Lion Tamer’ for two live audience participation events.

Was actively involved in four of the school plays, playing major roles in the productions of ‘Cabaret’, ‘The Chrysalids’ and ‘Bugsy Malone’, and was assistant director to the schools production of ‘Skellig’.

Performed major roles in ‘Wizards are a nuisance’, ‘Hiawatha’, ‘Domby- Dom’, ‘Ghost Writer’ and ‘Ordinary Day’. Whilst part of this group I developed a strong understanding of improvisational comedy from an early age.
